Hello..I'm new..obviously..

Hi. My name is Kimmi. I came on here to learn more about deaf culture and to try and learn ASL. My friend is losing her hearing and we were told that it might be a good idea for us to learn ASL. She is in college at the moment, so she can take an ASL class, but I cannot. My only other option is to try and find people that will help me learn. I admit, I know little. But I am more than willing to do this. To try and learn what I can from anyone willing to teach me. I thank you so much to anyone who reads this.

you can learn asl by going to • ASL • American Sign Language

they have videos, dictionaries, courses, etc...

many people on AD use it to teach themselves (including me )
