I'm not deaf or Hard of Hearing, but I know some ASL and will be going to school to be an interpretor after achieving my Bachelor's degree in History! I am from Michigan and will be moving to upstate New York at the end of this weekend with my fiancee. We will be getting married August 22, which is a short 26 days from now! My fiancee is a United States Marine, and has served 2 tours in Iraq. He just finished up his first four years, and is in the process of 4 more (he has been a Marine for 5 years). We are all very proud of him! His brother just graduated from Virginia Military Institute and is now an Officer in the Marine Corp.
I love History, Art, Cars and Hockey! I am a HUGE fan of the Detroit Red Wings, and I absolutely love Camaros! I just got done attending Oakland University in Michigan and am now looking forward to finishing up school in the next year in New York at Elmira College. From there I will look to recieve my teaching certification and my ASL certification to be an interpretor. I would hope that this site would help me reach out to more people involved in ASL, it would be fun to have a friend I could sign to!
