I just wanted to introduce myself. I am Jimmy {Mod Edit: Surname removed out of respect to privacy concerns} ~RR from Wylie, Texas. I am a second year ASL student. I am a senior in college and have two more years of ASL. I am working on becoming an attorney and would love to be able to work with the deaf community. I can hear although I have a hard time hearing at times. I have a hearing aid that is broken right now and needs to be fixed. I am scheduled to have a surgery done on my right year in a couple of weeks to do a skin graph because I have a whole in my ear drum do to having tubes put in a year and half ago. I do not know what else to say other than I would like to meet some deaf people close to me so that I can continue to use what I have learned so far and someone that can help teach me better. I know that there are several different types of signs out there but the only thing I know is ASL.
