Hi, my name is Ginny. I'm new here on All Deaf, and I am in the process of learning ASL, having fallen in love with the language, and am becoming more interested in deaf culture. I am on here to meet new people and to learn more about what it means to be deaf. I'm a junior in high school, and I am currently hoping to go to college and become fluent in several languages including ASL and become a translator.

to AllDeaf Forum. Instead of the word "translator", you mean you want to become ASL Interpreter for the Deaf. Where do you live?

Yes, you have to go to college to learn how to become ASL interpreter.

Does your high school have ASL class for you to learn ASL?
