I am 31 year old from NC, I was born with hearing loss in Tampa, Fl. I also have a sister who is a year younger than also has hearing loss. When I was born, I wasn't talking until I was 3. I had to go a lot of doctor and audiologist to see about my hearing loss. When I went to school, I went to special classes for HI from K to College. I had to go speech thepry when I was in K to 12. I don't go anymore, but I do still have problem pronouce some words and grammar.

I found out that I loss few more hearing and keep feeling this ringing in my ears last few weeks. I will be getting a new digital hearing aids in few weeks. I don't know what going to be like, but my audiologist will explain to me how this new hearing aids will work. When I start to wear these digital hearing aids, I hope this ringing in my ear stop. It is bothering me about everyday now. If it doesn't stop when I start wearing this new hearing aids, I will talk to my audiologist about it. I'm glad that I found this site to learn and get back to deaf and hard of hearing environment again. I haven't been with deaf or hard of hearing people for a long time and I would like to go back to be part of it. thanks :)
