Hey everyone,
My name is Kay, I grew up with a family member and a close friend who were deaf and through them I learnt asl, I wasnt great but I was ok. I lost contact with my friend and recently connected back with her after many years and she is disappointed that I forgot how to sign. Though I still know some of the basic and ABC and am trying to relearn. Google search led me here and it looks like a great place to start.

Hi kayco,
Welcome to AllDeaf. Like you, I learned to sign long, long ago. I recently set out to restore the ASL that I lost from years of neglect. I hope you will find as I did, that ASL is still in you. Much of what I learned as a child was still in there... I just had to blow the cobwebs off. Find every opportunity you can to use ASL and you will quickly restore what you think you lost. Even better, there is an entire community waiting to welcome you back.
