(Yes, I'm filling up AD with such threads.....because AD is getting bit boring, so someone got to liven AD up a bit :lol: )
 
I consulted with both of my hands.. Both seem to have next to nth degree of no energy to raise their hands. Utter failure.

Really cute. My sister worked as a manager for Sanrio stores in Los Angeles area. It's very popular there. Hello Kitty products have a strong distinctive "sweet" smell so every time I borrow her truck, I could smell it (with all the packages containing hello kitty items). Even erasers smelled like candy and I'd feel like biting them.

Does the Sanrio store happen to be in Little Tokyo? If so, I went there couple of months ago and bought my Hello Kitty earrings there...ohhhh man, that store is awesome and SO CUTE!
 
I dunno. It was in the early 90's and I was staying with her in the summer of 1992. She no longer works for Sanrio.

But it's cute, indeed. She asked me if I wanted to work for Sanrio and I said no I don't think so. lol - it's just too "cutesy" for me. She did got me a job for the subsidiary of the Bombay company for that summer. :)
 
my nieces used to play with hello kitty dolls and stuff when they were a kiddie. never see domo before interesting, that's cute kinda scary monster looking.
