Hello I'm ran256 I am HoH. My wife, ASLGAL, told me about this site so I logged on to check it out, and liked what I saw and the comments I've read. I hope to visit it often to share views and comments with everyone, it is great to see that there are so many deaf and HoH out there, that we can all come together in a site devoted to us. On a personal note, I am so proud of my wife for learning ASL so that we can communicate with each other during times when it is too loud and I can't hear. Hello again and happy to be here.
 
:welcome: to AD! I am in the same shoes as u are..my husband is hearing and just learned ASL so I am proud and grateful for him. :)

Sorry...I am sorta off topic... my late husband was hearing.. we were married for 11 yts... i never regretted ..... Bless his heart .. he passed away in my arm from lung cancer...

It isn't difficult to take something more serious (proper ASL) when you love someone :cuddle:

SxyPorkie, It is sad to lose your soulmate, bless your heart. It sounds like the two of you were certainly the better half of eachother :hug:
