Welcome to AD!
No worries! what did you think about your terrible english.
I am bad to learn in grammar English too lol

Feel welcome! I would like to learn the Greek language since I am 1/3 Greek! Don't worry about the English, even English speakers are not well with the English niether.

welcome to alldeaf! don't worry, theres no such thing as perfect english. sometimes my english sucks too. hope you enjoy the forum as well.

:welcome: to AD! I agree with other ADers about English..your English is pretty clear to me and I could understand your message so that's important. Dont worry about it being perfect. Heck, even myself make errors here. :)

:welcome:

I am new to this site too. Hope the weather is more agreeable in Greece than it is in UK at the moment....

You talk about hearing aids. My son is profoundly deaf and doesn't use aids..he did when he was at boarding school but they would be left at school when he came home for weekends and school holidays.

As a hearing person I can only wonder if people like Chris my son who have no real concept of the spoken heard word find that using aids in general just amplifies something they don't understand or can relate to. This is how I see it and I am perfectly open to learning more....

I dont wish that to sound patronising, it is just that I am a hearing person living in a hearing world and although through my son I get an idea of the deaf world and culture I don't experience it for myself first hand.

But WELCOME and I hope you make new friends.:fingersx:
