My name is Beatriz Prieto. I am an interpreting major from California. I am new to this site. I attend many Deaf events, but there is a limited amount of Deaf people that show up. I am hearing and would very much like to socialize with people from different places and overall chat and get to know each other. I have been told that I need to produce my signs smoother and I would really like to improve and learn from the Deaf online community. 
...welcome....I'm a "jerky" signer myself...wishing I could sign more smoother too.
