Here's a setup question:
Using a computer, and a headset (with left and right).
I have one ear pretty much shot, and requires heavy adjustments and amplification of the different frequency channels to get the sound to become "normal" again. But if I use a general equalizer, it will certainly adjust both left and right and the other ear is better and does not need the sound to be "distorted", so on that ear the sound comes in really awful.
So, they require separate settings, left and right.
The purpose: at this time my most urgent need is to be able to use the VoIP. so I can call people on the computer and hear them back on my headset. It s the only way for me to get a better louder sound. However, thus far, I have been only using the good ear, because using both actually makes it more difficult to understand.
Anybody with this kind of setup that works?
I suppose I am looking for a software solution that equalizes both channels independently and uses the sound that is incoming from the sound card/VoIP software (I really would not know the specifics of this).
I appreciate your answers, thanks.
