hearing student, learning about deaf and music

Hello! I'm writing about music and the d/Deaf community for my MA dissertation. I'm still looking for people to interview, so I thought joining this forum would be a good way to meet some more people who can share their views with me about music. Thanks!

What are you looking into exactly with music/deafness? I used to be able to listen to music being hearing for most of my life, now I can still listen to music, although it is not the same.
I know some members that listen to music being deaf since birth.. anyway hope that helps.
