Has anyone ever had a hearing person pick up speechreading from you? I've had college friends, and camp friends become so adapt at speechreading that we can have " spoken" conversations without making a sound. Just wondering if that happened with anyone else.

Wirelessly posted

Apparently I'm the only person my mom can ever lip read. My mom absolutely cannot lip read at all except for me.

For my exes. They learned how to read my lips because I hated voicing in public and it didnt take them long to have it "click" in their head what I'm saying.

For my best friends. They have learned how to listen better thanks to me. They can understand accents a lot better and all. So if they meet someone foreign. They understand right away unlike others who go what?

My sister Jennifer, has picked it up from me, somehow. She's been able to read lips since she was little just like me.

A few friends of mine picked that up as well. It is quite funny to watch the people around you, when having a silent conversation that way.

Sometimes friends would tell me what they think football referees said on the field. I am the expert and always right, no matter if I am not. :giggle:
