ik this may seem weird but I have a deaf guy friend and i have been trying ASL for a lil while now but im trying something new and different and would like to have some compabitiblity with someone that understands me and does know what i do know. I also would love to learn more asl and communication :wave:

Why come Deaf site and ask how to have compatibility with *not* Deaf? Who understand you? Go hearie site. :giggle:
 
I never understand these posts. I'm a hearing girl and my partner is deaf....but why would you actively look for someone based on deafness? Then you're not appreciating a person for who they are. You'd be basing your relationship on the person's disability, and thus overlooking their person as a whole. I just find it really strange, *shrug*. If you want to learn ASL, then learn ASL....don't expect someone to teach you just because you're dating.
 
My girlfriend is always asking me for ASL homework. What should I learn next? I love it when I give her homework and then she tries to learn on her own.

I'm curious, what is wrong with the deaf guy friend? Is he married?
 
You have go sign up for a ASL class to learn it better, are you dating deaf guys
to get free lessons??
