I am a hearing person in need of some solutions. I am a Freemason and we just recently accepted the first deaf person into the fraternity, a very dear friend of mine, and other deaf people are soon to join as well. Although I am conversational with ASL, I am not qualified to interpret, and we can not hire an interpreter that is not a Freemason nor could we afford the reoccurring cost of hiring an interpreter. What is available in the way of technology that we could use to incorporate our new deaf brothers into the meetings most effectively? Is there an acceptable voice to text system we could set up in our meeting? Who do I contact or where would I shop for such things? Any other Ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all!
