Couldn't help you with the upgrading hearing aid part... me duh here. lol

Sure, there are too many hearing colleges in FL but no deaf college, sorry!

But I'm not too sure about the deaf courses although I know there are several ones that do offer interpreting services wherever needed for the deaf.

Yes, there are a large deaf population in Tampa bay area for certain... probably bit more than Orlando's. I was told several times before that STP-Tampa Bay area supposedly holds the largest deaf population in FL yet most of my deaf connections are in NE FL and Orlando area while have very few deaf friends live in STP-Tampa Bay area, however.

There is SPCC located in Clearwater where it has deaf students there.

There is Central Florida University in east Orlando where my deaf friend (young beautiful girl) attending there as a sophomore. Also there is Valencia Community College that offers deaf services and has some deaf students there... also where my friend's deaf daughter currently attends.

There are several other Floridan posters here so they could be more helpful if chance.

Maybe try to contact someone at FAD.org for the starter.

Thank you for your respond, it really help me a great deal. I have another questions does Vocational Rehabilitation help the deaf through colleges, or vocational school, and job career at Florida. I was thinking of relocating and I would like to live either at Florida or Tampa.
