Hello, and seasons greetings to all. Just wanted to introduce myself here. My name is Eddie, Im a 33 year old Paramedic from Fredericton, NB, Canada.
My wife and I have been learning ASL for past little while and look forward to one day not looking like a complete newbie.

Welcome to AllDeaf! Enjoy your stay! :thumb:

Keep up with the hard work of learning your signs.

I suggest you apply your learnings in a real environment to help you understand how it works. Learning alone and then using it out of the blue will make you look like a obvious newbie than if you learn a little and apply it a lot with a real environment.
