So right now I have a Starkey RIC the S Series IQ. While I'm glad I have it (better than the analog I had years ago) I can't help but to feel a bit ripped off and dumb for not doing more research. I know there's hearing aids that have bluetooth compatiblities for the phone, music, and that would be very ideal for me. I just don't know whats really out there.

Unfortunately, I shelled out a pretty penny for this one I have, so I don't see myself getting a new aid anytime soon, but just curious about everyone else's aid, if you like the features, any issues etc.

No hearing aids have Bluetooth inside. You just need to look for one that can have a streamer attached to it like my Phonak Naidas and the ComPilot.

It's the streamer that has Bluetooth inside. If HAs had Bluetooth inside them, you would be changing HA batteries everyday.

Thanks for clearing that up lol. I know Starkey has the "Surf Link Mobile" device but it only works on certain Starkey aids that allows you to stream from a device (mp3, cell phone, tv) to the Surf Link, to the hearing aid. Thought that was pretty cool but was wondering if there were other aids that do similar things.

I would like Bluetooth compatible and not have to deal with wires, but this is a satisfactory substitute until I get the $$$$ for an upgrade.
