Hearing aid moments

I have been reading the thread about CI moments with great interest, but I wonder if anyone has or remembers some interesting hearing aid moments?
 
when i got my left hearing aid and had both ha's on I heard a fan...on both sides! lol I haven't heard that in awhile. I work in a bar too so every song that comes on the more and more I hear it the more I can pick out little things that I never heard before, esp lyrics in the car when I am listening to a song even if I have heard it many times before, I catch a new word and it amazes me that I never heard the work before or just never deciphered the word
 
I mentioned this in a post somewhere else but it seems fine to post it here too.

When my audi first put my aids on me I cried. His voice didn't sound muffled anymore, I heard the sound of the fish tank in the office, the radio he apparently had on the whole time was really soft but I could hear it fine after they were on me. It was crazy! I catch sounds often I really haven't heard in so long!
 
I had just returned from the doctors office where I had received my brand new hearing aids. I was thirsty so I opened a can of soda. Although I had heard the muffled sound before, with the new ha it sounded as if a gun had gone off in the house.
 
In December I was standing in a silent hallway chatting with an interpreter before a meeting. We were close to an elevator and all of the sudden the elevator beeped. I heard it and nearly jumped 10 feet in the air. The interpreter was shocked I heard it because it was relatively quiet. There was no other sound though so my hearing aids picked it up and amplified it like crazy and I heard it. Scared me a lot!
 
I can remember one moment when I got new hearing aids around the age of 12. I finally had decent hearing aids with the right amount of amplification. I was in the lobby of the hospital, and I could hear coins dropping into a payphone. I remember getting so excited at just being able to hear coins dropping into a phone.
 
Just got new HA last friday and yesterday, for the first time in years, I was actually able to hear my boss talking to me from behind! Then today I was able to hear him from the inside of one of my trucks with him still about 10 ft away from the truck itself! I was very shocked lol
