Hello, for an essay I have to include interviews discussing benefits of hearing technologies. If possible, I would appreciate it if you could please comment on how hearing technologies have benefited you. Also, please include a brief introduction of your experiences with hearing technologies.

I'd forgotten that birds tweet in the trees in Winter.
Socially it's a godsend. I sat and had a conversation the other day withought having to pretend I heard what the other person was saying, make excuses to do a runner, laugh and say " yes " and then get weird looks or keep asking them to repeat themselves until they make excuses to do a runner.
My friends and family tell me I've stopped shouting ( one of them always used earplugs around me !! ) and my kiddies don't think I'm permanently angry anymore. I hear details at work again.
I'm not daydreaming as much anymore.
I can turn my HA off and get some private quiet time
