There's a clerk at my local bookstore with huge gauges in her ears at my book store. I think her lobes are all stretched out but she doesn't actually wear a HA tough like thr pix in this thread.

Interesting yes but I think most people will share the view as what was expressed in the first 2 replies. If that's the case, I doubt it will take off given that there will be a lack of demand for such a product. Shame really. If it did take off, you'd have the potential for a powerful yet stylish hearing aid. Powerful + stylish are two attributes which don't tend to go hand in hand when talking about hearing aids. Another good thing about it is that its microphone is in a very good place, unlike BTEs and ITCs.
