HEADTEACHER FACES JAIL

A headteacher who stole £500,000 from her school to fund a "shopaholic" lifestyle has been remanded in custody until September 1.

Colleen McCabe was told she faced a lengthy jail sentence after being found guilty of milking school funds.

The 50-year-old former nun splashed out on Gucci jewellery, fine restaurants, West End shows, trips on the Orient Express and lavish holidays.

She frittered away school cash on furniture, electrical goods, designer clothes and cosmetics.

London's Southwark Crown Court also heard that, in a display of greed that "would have made Imelda Marcos proud", she spent £7,000 on footwear.

Nearly five years of lavish credit card sprees left St John Rigby College in south London lurching from one financial crisis to another.

The library shelves were empty and teachers had to clean their own classrooms.

McCabe gasped and began to tremble when the jury unanimously found her guilty.

What a disgrace! Sure am glad she got caught and taken out of her job. She's no role model for the school at all! :ugh:

Jeez... what a bitch! I've got a few friends who have a shopping problem. No, I'm not giving a vague definition like I did with "drinking problem" or "alcoholic". She seriously is a shopaholic! She doesn't believe in wearing clothes more than twice. She doesn't believe that it's "good" unless it's expensive. If you ever get her anything, she'll always ask where you got it first then compliment it based where it's from. If it's from Zales, "Whoa, this is beautiful! I love it!" If it's from Walmart, "Oh, um... it's nice. Umm..."

 it sounds just like me but in different way I don't believe in wearin same lipstick every day but I manage to use what I used other day NOT same all week I should try that  but ah java and oddball knows me so I'm
