This has happened from time to time...the thing that is unsettling is the fact after I've explained nicely that if the speaker could either speak up or look directly at me...and then catching that exasperation or sigh when they realize they need to repeat and then a few of them will either say--"oh never mind, it's nothing..." or wave off and walk away or say something else...although, there are quite a few people that will realize how important this is and adjust accordingly and it won't be a problem anymore.
