That's too bad that some of you have had bad reactions from people. I am hearing, but would never react like that. I used to work at a place where we had a deaf mailman and everyone would refuse to go talk to him if he needed us to sign for something or whatever. I don't know what's so intimidating about it, it's just mail! So I would always go over because I would never want to make a person feel badly.
Besides, how hard is it to just sign for the mail and smile?
