On my eighteenth birthday I was offered a free Glider Ride over my county.
I turned it down because I had never flown, let alone in something with no engine...scared.
I regret to this day - I am told that when you are in a Glider Plane the world is beautifully silent and is closest to being a bird as humans can be.
