Have they told you that you annoy them by the noises you make?

you know when you wash dishes and you dont realize that you are making horrible noises like using metal spoon/knife/fork to scrape food off the ceramic plate -- you know some food are stuck on plate and I'd scrape it hard to get it off...my mom go :eek: at me said QUIT THAT and it sounds TERRIBLE when you do that!!! lol I was like :shock: OK!!! sorry about that :Oops: :rofl:

I sometime do tapping my heel more quickly...it annoys people and they tell me to quit. :|

Umm, I tend to pop my knuckles....anyone who heard it, they hate it when I do that :lol:
 
Yes when I play w/ my tongue pireced.. My mom would going to say STOP DO THAT!! I was like okay sorry! LOL.

Or do nails on my toe to toe itself and my friends or my family who hears it and always tell me quit it!! :rofl:

Another thing when I cut a steak or anything.. it makes noise on plate.. my mom would say stop that!! it's making a terrible noise and let's me do it for u! I was like :ugh: okie dokie LOL

lol oh yea that too...when I try to cut, trying to cut if its thick meat and its like GRINDING noises on plate...my mom will go :eek: at me and say STOP IT and put her finger in her ear like stratch it. :lol:

I am trying to think what's more that I ve been told to stop.
 
I would get the lid of a pen and blow into it making it whistle. Sometimes I do that when it's supposed to be a quiet time. :p
 
When I was teaching ASL class, my students often told me to stop writing on the blackboard, because I can't feel the screeching sound from the chalk to the blackboard. Ya know what I mean? That annoyed my hearing students.
 
everybody get mad at me because i can blow my cheek to make it sound like farts .. it really annoy them big time and embrassment to be round me... It does work when i really dislike someone and wanna to rid of that hearing person so i had to do that to put them far distance or send them out of the place..
 
Most of my deaf friends don't make any noises that really annoy me. One girl I know, alot of times, especially when she is emotional or excited, she makes these sqeaks and sqawks.
 
I tends to tap my pencil or pen on the table when I think so that annoys everyone. They yell at me to stop cuz its a habit. I cant help it. heh

Forgot to mention you know how some deaf clap to get your attention. That annoys me and that got me puzzled. Why would they clap to other deaf if they cant hear.

lol...one of the common ways to annoy hearing people is by stomping the floor to get other deaf people's attention. That'll make the hearing strangers uncomfortable.
 
gosh there are several things. I remember my teacher complained to my mom that when I wear high heels it would sound like I am stomping (think like the army). I had some people looking at me in class cuz when my feet shakes it would hit the desk and make sounds. Same goes for my bracelet I cant wear it to school cuz when i write it makes a clack clack sounds on my desk. GROWL..... also be careful of the slurping sound when you are so thirsty.

Farting, blowing nose too hard, walking heavily (I'm 6'4" tall), clicking tongue, burping, hearing aid whistling etc...

What's up with the hearies? Deafies never complain about this???
