Aww, thank you everyone - you're a couple days early, though. ;) Actual birthday is 12/30th. ;) It's a nice surprise to see this thread here! Thank you for starting it, ITPjohn!

As for my writing - I haven't published anything yet, but was given a link to a site called Blurb Home. I was thinking of giving that a shot...if and when I do, I will be certain to post the link to the finished product here - from what I understand, you pay a one-time self-publishing fee and then your book becomes available for people to purchase over the site. In the meantime, you still retain the original copyright to the book and you're free to do with it whatever you like. :) I'm still going over the fine print on that.

As for me, I pass by every now and then, so I'll be sure to check back on this thread and others - feel free to keep in touch via AIM/email in the meantime! ;) (PM for information if you don't have it!)
