I know I am silly to make a thread. I just found it so interesting! I haven't straighten my hair for a long time. So i decide to use the hot straighten iron on my hair. GOSH! My straighten hair do affect people's responses. Some waitresses made comments to me, and even strangers. My dh said, " you look nice, i am tired of seeing your waves or curly hair all the time. ". :roll: hehe

by the way, men are welcome to vote or comment. :laugh2:
 
Sections of my hair are straight and other sections are wavy. The wavy sections, some curl forward, some curl backwards, and some just stick out.
 
Mine is natural curls....I need to get the straighten iron one...my friend is selling hers and I kept post pone lol! I will get it soon and try it! My hair always FRIZZ! Oh well!
 
I think Reba just described my hair perfectly . But it is very short so does not show much.
 
my hair is naturally straight. for hair style - i like a very short haircut. easy maintenance.
 
Mine is naturally straight, like Reba, but some sections tend to wave more than others. I maintain it by keeping my hair in a long wave style, but on times it is very humid, ugh... :roll:
 
My hair is straight as straight can be. I have very fine hair, but my hairsylist says I have TOO much of it. it is a pain to comb (because it get tangle easily... even if you got the tangle out, comb it again and the tangle is back) , cut and curl my hair. I tried french braiding it, but even that exhaust my arms because there are too much hair

And I usually need two set of hot curlers just so I have enough to curl all my hair.
 
I am jealous of people who have natural straight hair. My natural hair is very wave mixed curly. sometimes it turns out diaster! So I like straight hair on my hair!! if humdity is here, good bye to my hair. :shock: I still got comments from people about my hair. i will miss it when i quit using a hot straighten iron sometimes this week. :giggle: i will see if i can keep up to use it everyday. eh.

That's what I do, too. I keep it short. As soon as it starts growing out, it goes in all directions. :lol:
 
It depends on the hair style. I have really thick wavy hair so I can curl or go straight. The most important thing about hair is that the hair style compliments the face and frames the face nicely. It's nice to change hair styles every once in a while.

I wished my hair is curly.. I would pay to have permed hair.

my fine hair is so flat that if I shaved it, you wouldn't know the difference in my facial . basically, I would look the same. i hope I explained that correctly.

But it's a good thing I have a lot of hair because it does add some fullness to it.
 
I prefer straight hair but my hair is naturally thick and wavy. I have really work at my hair with flat iron and hair products to make it straight.
 
My hair's a medium curl and up until two years ago I'd gotten my head completely shaved but now it's just past my bottom with shoulder-length being my goal (mom hates it)
 
My hair is very straight and shiny. I have hard time to make a curl by hot iron curl. My hair need to use strong spray make it long last. The curl will end up to wavy on my hair. The braids will be make me wavy easy. That's odd. I had perm my hair long times ago. I hate it! The perm made my hair damaged and dull.

I like any kind of curl, wavy and straight. My husband have a thick curly hair. He really hate the curl hair! He wish he have straight hair. He is lucky to have me because of my hair. I love to see the babies with curly hair. That's so cute! I am looking forward for my baby's hair get grow. I bet my our kids will be curly, wavy, shiny and thick.
 
My hair is thick and slightly wavy, every time I wash my hair I let it dry naturally. :)
 
Bramus, after having long hair for a long time, my teen shaved his head. It was a shock since he didn't tell me that he was going to do it. :shock: I think that he looks handsome both ways. I'll bet you do, too.

I can't use the straightening iron because I seem incapable of getting my hair on it correctly. I'm afraid of burning myself. I like when the stylist does it for me.
 
I have naturally curly hair that turn into spiral riglets if I dont touch it while drying. I used to straighten it out all the time but I got tired of all of the work.
