I have a follow up Tuesday to look at hearing aides. I'm assuming that the doctors receive incentives to sell certain brands. I've looked through some of the older threads, but still not sure which brands I should avoid. I think they're most likely to recommend BTE/open-fit type. My ears also stick out a lot, so not sure how well they will fit with so much extra clearance. I'm also pretty active if there are ones better for being jarred around. I won't be able to get a more unbiased opinion from the state health department for a couple of weeks. Thank you.

Those open fit ones can be changed to a standard bte setup and use molds.

If you are really active that is what I would do for keeping them secure.
