H m d !!!!

From August of 2016, my mother had back surgery and the recovery didn't go well. She landed in intensive care but thankfully recovered. April of this year, she got ill and after my Dad heard her breathing funny, we couldn't wake her and rushed her to the ER (her appendix burst). She's spent over 19 days in the hospital, 13 of which were in the ICU. The doctor told us that she was the closest to death she had ever seen a patient coming through those doors, and the fact that she's still with us speaks to the power of God. She's home now enjoying her day and doing well. I pray all of you are blessed to spend this day with your Moms and families and that it's filled with joy and good health.

Moms are awesome, aren't they? I am getting on in years but finally learning this. Happy Mother's Day!
