So sad and senseless. I was not familiar with Christian Grimmie but she was young and seemed full of promise.

Police search for motive behind killing of 'The Voice' star
Singer Christina Grimmie, a 22-year-old one-time contestant on the TV show "The Voice," was shot dead after a concert Friday by an unknown gunman who traveled from another part of Florida to kill her, Orlando police said.
Orlando Police Chief John Mina told reporters Saturday that the 21-year-old gunman, whose name he did not release, didn’t know Grimmie personally and appears to be a deranged fan. The police were searching the killer’s cellphone and computer for a motive.
Grimmie was shot Friday night as she was signing autographs after a performance in Orlando at The Plaza Live.
The gunman then fatally shot himself after Grimmie's brother tackled him, possibly preventing further injuries and deaths, authorities said. Grimmie was taken to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead early Saturday morning, her publicist said....
