I'm sure glad I found this site. I have an 8 year old daughter who received her CI several weeks ago and underwent 'initial stimulation' this week. Before that she had been wearing hearing aids since she was 4. She knows a little sign language and has been attending a mainstream school since kindergarten. I'm really loking forward to learning a lot here.
