Ok, tonight was a screwed up night...
Went to walMart for my average Pepsi run, as Im leaving a dude is running across the lot, next a silver van simular to mine is flying across headed towards A hwy...
I am taking my normal route to McDonalds and up to my house , as I approach Palmer the Silver van appears out of nowhere and flys past me at a high rate of speed in a no passing zone, what an assho...le is what Im thinking, I turn on Palmer to head down to my house when all the sudden a cop flys up on me, so I stop, Guns drawn on me... the whole nine yards.... I told the cop if he is looking for a silver van they flew past me and headed to A..... None of that, My ID... you know the ropes. Anyway a witness appeared and told the cop that whoever they were chasing flew around me and cut me off, took a bit but luckily there was a witness, 2 silver vans leaving walmart and i got walmart bags in the car...lol , what is my luck. Well, whoever the witness was I want to thanks him.

how is you did your little one get on with tooth...i broke my tooth few hours or so after i read your post.in my case the pain in my pocket...the nhs is is good but not that good with dental it still costs....
the word you looking for with that driver is WANKER more polite than fuck.say it to any brit and you get alittle smile of aknowledgement they will say thankyou for pointing it out.problem solved...cops shake your hand and agree they (cops that is)are indeed proper wankers all very polite
 
I don't think Witness is only thing saves your ass. Since you shopped at walmart and if you had receipt, it will prove cop that your not the one they are chasing.

Yeah, the cop did look at the groceries and he was pissed since he thought for sure he had the van he was after, if he would have listened to me he could have had them, but nooooooooooo. Why if I was being chased go to my own house and be driving under the speed limit all the sudden? Yeah he was not happy giving my ID back and all, he wanted those guys bad whatever they did.
 
Yeah, I can see how cops could get real pissed off after losing the chase game. Glad they didn't hurt you or shoot ya. Wow!

I did remember seeing 25 cops chasing motorcycle at rather very high speed, man! Guess what? That motorcycle got away. Wow!

:wtf: :wtflol: I see no reason to apologize for using F-Bombs when we have these to links to use.
I once told a cop a person was driving drunk and what their car looked like . The cop pulled over a car but it was not the right car. The cop did not listen to me he was in hurry to get the driver and that guy got away.
That is good you had 2 witnesses to back up . Was there anything on the news that night about a robbery ? I am glad you get not get hit by the other van. Did you see what they looked like?

Funny you say that, I did see the punk running, not his face, but his clothes... a Light blue flannel jacket and jeans, I was wearing a dark blue flannel jacket and jeans...lol
He had black hair mine is a dark blonde/brownish, I couldnt run 20 feet if my life depended on it, and he was booking across that lot til the van picked him up.
 
Was this close to St. Louis? I ask as St. Louis is supposed to be one of the more dangerous cities in USA. Are there suburbs surrounding St. Louis that are dangerous? I don't know how far you were from St. Louis.

I would not know what I would've done if it was me. Glad you are ok.
 
I was born and raised in St. Louis city, worked for the city 15 years till I got injured/terminated in 2009, moved out of the city and now live about 45 minutes south in Festus. No one ever bothered me in the city, had a few thugs try to steal my new car but no match to me ( back then) Cops said I was crazy to go after them , I said no they were crazy to mess with my car...lol My house was also broke into when I first bought it and my parents lived behind me, one year christmas eve someone broke into their house when they left for some last minute christmas shopping and stole everything, so there was no christmas that year, kids were disappointed, my daughter was around 8 at the time. sucks but happens

Wow , and your van was the same color , at least your hair was not same color. So it sounds like the guy pulled robbery or tried to pull one as he had a get away car. I use to hitchhike a lot when I lived in Northern California and I was picked up by two guys and the driver was wearing black leather gloves in the middle of the summer! The driver notice me looking at his gloves
and he said " He just pulled robbery!" I am thinking "Oh Shit, are the cops looking for these guys?" I was waiting for the cops cars to be all over the place ,that never happen . I was worried the cops would think I was involved with the robbery.
 
yes but did thoses guys in black drop you off ok or was things going on.....anyhow never a cop when you want one....i had my garden broken into two years ago took them best part of two years to get here as not emegancy
 
Your incident brings up one of my major concerns getting around. Now that I have much better hearing aids it is less likely but it could still happen. The being in the wrong place at the wrong time and too deaf thing. I had it happen once and it can be shocking how quickly things escalate. I survived but was really made aware of how when you cannot hear there are things that can happen. The police or military are not thinking hey this guy could be deaf when they are ramping up to shoot.

Cops can be "interesting" to deal with when you are deaf.

When my ex lost control of her car and spun into the ditch with me riding shotgun, a deputy showed up.

I remember standing off to the side with my girlfriend while the deputy was checking over the car. Then he looked at me and said something. Then he said it again with a ticked off look on his face. Then he got into the car and moved it. (not sure why)

I didn't ask what the deputy said, since I was still kind of in shock from being spun around like a top and put in the ditch.

My girlfriend turned to me and exasperatingly said, "He wanted you to move the car."

I replied, "Oh, sorry, I didn't understand him."

But it was a little scary watching this deputy get mad when I didn't hear him and respond.

If your ex was the driver, why would the cop ask you, a passenger, to move the car? Also, if the girlfriend understood the cop, why didn't she explain the situation instead of letting the deputy get exasperated? :confused:
