I gave it a try, and I have to admit that it's quite an effective tool to have without having to click onto the IE all the time.

It take place in your taskbar all the time, just fill in the blank. It even has some features including definitions, froogle and more.

Hmm... I'm not sure I trust it. Everytime I download something to improve my internet experience, I always get the "Spyware Detected" warning. I use Ad-Aware and usually get warnings for these things. There's Hotbar, Yahoo, Gator, etc. Now this? Hmm... I don't know. I've got enough patience to get on the Internet Explorer and type in "www.google.com" for myself. :thumb:

I think this one is pretty harmless, at least it is so far. It take place in your taskbar. It doesn't cause any pop-up ads like gator would.

You can always remove it later if you find it a threat to your privacy.

Gee.. I wondered how I can make my own deskbar with options I want it to do for me..

I got the google desktop and seems nifty tool to use!

I have to agree with Vamp about this. I usually grab that Google
immediately from the Bookmark without any problem. Thats why
I couldn't figure out why taskbar ? I even noticed that
the more programs I have on the taskbar, then
it takes much longer to get my computer rebooted or restarted.
Thats why I've decided to remove almost all programs anything
from the taskbar.

I don't like any of those things. I am always worried about getting spyware.

blah!! It got too buggy so I had to uninstall it.

It does not slow down my computer at all. Did you know you already have Location bar in there, only that it is not turned on? The Google Deskbar is like that Location bar but directed at Google.

I downloaded the google taskbar program and I came to find it quite handy, although I'd like to have it re-directed to google.com.au as Australia has their version and I use that one more than the US based google. ;)
