Money troubles is usually a common cause of relationship problems. However, since money is nothing more than a tool, having money won't solve everything, but it sure makes a lot of things more practical. 
In fact, problems about money usually comes from having the power to decide on what to do, and most people don't have the same attitude towards money, nor do they have the same spending habits. Money arguments usually follow this pattern:

Partner #2 thinks Partner #1 is an idiot and proposes their way is better.
