A few of us here have the naidas and can give you some positives and negatives on them. The Naidas are meant to be a transpositional aid meaning it can shift noises in some frequencies into others. This feature from phonak is called sound recover and it works well for some and others hate it. The sound recover doesn't HAVE to be on. I have the phonak naida V SP's and have just recently went from severe to profound in the high freqs and I use the sound recover to shift the high freqs into a lower freq so I can hear those sounds. You should definitely ask your audi to trial the naidas. The naida IX's are the best because they have a Zoom feature on it and a feature for the phone where you can hear the speaker in both ears. So maybe try the naida IX's?
