it's just rare that wolves attack people but most of the time, they don't really do any harm so most of the time wolves just run in fear because humans are bigger and stronger.
I never seen a live wolf before in person, but most of the time I've seen them on TV like animal planet or whatever like that, they could only attack when they feel like they are in extreme danger, but would never attack a human for food anyway.
