Yesterday, SLC had its Gay Pride Day right in the downtown at the Library Square. I didn't get to go 'cos it was raining and I didn't feel like going. I am curious if any one of you went to Gay Pride Celebrations this year? Also you can submit some links to gay pride celebrations in your local areas and share stories! ;) I still remember when I was younger and marched in the Gay Pride parade with local youth group along Fifth Avenue in New York City. That was the best ever.

Drag queens gave their best Miss America waves from the backs of convertibles - one sporting a banner announcing "Utah's Oldest Deaf Drag Queen."

Hey y'all,

I am not gay and I am very open mind. My sister is with her girlfriend for 4 years now. I am happy for her. I know some gay deaf in Salt Lake City area. I am not sure if I know kufiej75 or not.
I want to support the gay pride but I had to work over the weekend. It sucks!
I also read the SL Tribute newspaper and I saw the quote "UTAH OLDEST DEAF DRAG QUEEN". Is that Russell?? I cannot remember his last name. I wish they post the picture on the website but maybe they will asap.

SEE YA! :)

We had Long Island Gay Pride Parade last Sunday.
