Gallaudet Protest Today?

I'm picking up strong wind that a protest at Gallaudet University is underway right now.

I have been busy all day yesterday. Our deaf center nearly doubled in size the last few weeks. The news I got came from very a reliable source. A splinter group, specifically the students of color, relayed messages that they were dissatisfied with Dr. Davila and were planning a protest yesterday. I just canvassed the news lines and blogs everywhere and couldnt find anything. Being the 'first person' to report something is becoming more of a gamble. But gambling is always fun.

HA!! theres no protest at Gally. My friend works there. I asked her. She said no.
 
Yes there was a protest just a small handful of people and I have pictures of it. But the gallynet listserve will boot me out if I post the 3 pics here.

WTF!? They're not satisfied with Davila? Jeez! Aren't they ever satisfied with anything?

They should have left Fernandez alone in the first place!

Each time they protest against Gallaudet, it becomes easier.

I won't be surprised if they are all willing to protest again! :roll:
 
Richard's making it all up. There's no "Gallaudet listserve" that will boot him out if he posts any proof anywhere. He's just trolling for attention for his agency.

Very true. Isn't it funny how a few students disagreeing with policy and making their disagreement known is all of a sudden a full scale, campus closing protest?
 
What I heard that Gallaudet protest again because of Sorenson s donation to Gally for a new building that goes for hear and speak, audio cochlear implants and speech therapist issues instead of ASL research.

What do you think Gally protest again?
