Aside -Sick Kids/Toronto has "different criteria" re Implantations. I have no direct personal information on them.
As I understand: Ottawa and London use exactly the same criteria as Sunnybrook/Toronto.
A further note: As I understand -my entire Cochlear Implant operation/Doctors' fees/Hospital care/audi services before & after was $55,000.00 CDN.- Five years ago. It is insure for 3 years. After that time-it becomes your responsibility on how/what to insure.
