Hello obviously I am new here and wanted to join a site where I could meet with all people who know and are learning ASL. :)

See I started off in college taking basics for Vet Tech when I met a HOH guy who knew ASL after meeting him and getting to know him better I found I really love the language so I had to know more! I took ASL 1 and immediately after that went to go change my major.

Lol being that my high school was so little and it only offered spanish as a language class I started from scratch so I come here to learn from the best and make new friends :D

I hope one day to become an interpreter so I gotta work hard but I just have this desire to keep learning so I don't care how long it takes I will succeed :D

It would be nice to meet you all ^-^

welcome to AD. don't know if changing from VET to terp is that good a deal. you go from working on an ASS to working for a deaf ASS. or in technical terms- donkeys

:welcome: to AllDeaf forum. Hope that is what you want to do as an ASL interpreter. Have fun reading and posting all the threads here.

Thanks to all for the welcome ^^

Yea I know huge difference but I live in a small town outside of San Antonio, Tx so have never been around deaf culture or sign language. So I guess that's why I want to learn it so bad. :D
