Hi Folks, Diddly here in Northern Nevada with a great view of the Sierra/Nevada Mountains. Been having hearing problems for 28 years. It started at 42 years old. I've talked to some folks with Coch hearing systems and frankly they seemed to be having the same problems I've had over the years with a variety of different canal and behind the ear hearing aids. Currently and for the past 3 years I've used behind the ear digital aids. These have been the best I've ever used. Only problem and it a biggy, is their failure due to prespiration. As I've pointed out to my audioligist on a number of occasions, I can buy a $29. watch that is good for 50 meters under water but can't keep sweat outta my $2500 hearing aids while I mow the lawn?
Nice meeting you
Diddly

About the prespiration and hearing aids..yea, when I was a kid, I played summer softball in Phx, AZ in the 100+ degree weather. Def cant wear my hearing aids while playing but made it so hard to communicate with my teammates since all of them were hearing. The designers should make hearing aids water-proof. Does anyone else agree?

Dry Hearing Aids

Is it possible to put something like a cloth that absorbs sweat and keeps your behind the hearing aids dry. Is it possible to wrape them in plastic or does the sweat enter into the ear and hearing aid part inserted into the ear.
