Free ISP Dial-up services ??

I heard there are some ISP Dial-up services
for free. True ? Any details ?

Ah, there were plenty of free ISPs before 2002 or so, but many have gone to charge people for using such. Juno is an paid-ISP service (like AOL, etc) and also a free E-mail provider until 2001, it started offering free Internet services along with free E-mail. Juno allows you to have up to ten free of hours per month Internet. Juno is owned by NetZero (netzero.com) which also provide up to ten hours of free Internet services. With the free ones by them, you get numerous of pop-up banners. There was a way you could kill the pop-ups and toolbar by editing your wordpad, but they will detect and close your account(s), I don't know if that still works.

For any other choice of free ISPs, you could try http://EmailAddresses.com , maybe you are in luck there are free ISPs offered in your area code(s).

You should be aware of spywares found in some free ISPs, use your spyware checker (such as Ad-Ware and SpyBot) to scan for possible spywares.
