About U: FREE Email Courses

Just thought this is worthwhile if you are interested in taking a free course or two on the Internet. :) There are no diplomas or certificates, unfortunately.

If you have ever taken free classes or courses like this one on the Internet only, and doesn't offer degrees, what are your experiences? :)
I am not talking about the Internet classes that you can take at your college for a fee...which I think it's an excellent choice if you want to learn more, and yes, I've taken these before. :)
Do you recommend free email classes/courses totally from the Internet (not regular college or universities) to others or not? :)
 
You could do that.

Or you could also get more out of it by getting a certification. Temp placement firms like Manpower (www.manpower.com), offer free training to their "employees" that you can take advantage of and I think they offer certifications for that. It's nothing to be an "employee" of manpower, you just fill in papers and such and so forth. I have major issues with how firms like manpower and labor pool firms manipulate the labor market, but that's a different story.

Though a bachelor's college degree is what makes the real difference in almost everything. A relative of mine who worked in HR calls it the "magic degree."
