Foxit PDF Reader

What it does:

Foxit is a replacement for that unfortunate staple of every computer user's life: Adobe Reader. Foxit reads and even edits PDFs -- those files that look exactly like original documents -- without the slowdown and crashes associated with Adobe's product.

I thought I'll let you all know about this PDF Reader alternative...
 
I had been using Foxit PDF Reader for about three months now.... It still have some bugs...
 
I do recommend Foxit PDF Reader highly. You may experience minor problems - nothing serious.

It is almost that I never bothered to install Adobe Reader on my computers. When I do, I usually uninstall it after I am done reading stuff on PDF.
 
Honestly, I reallly know nothng about PDF like Adobe.. its more complex for me.. I do sometime hate the PDF for some reasons.

I can only think of words to describe you and that is: WOW you don't have a brain do you?

you just ruined this for me. SUCKs! Jeez, your father would be sooo proud if he saw you ruining like this on the creator's thread. Then go somewhere else, troll..

If you have any problems with my comments, you can either ignore me or PM me if you truly have a problem with me.My post is related to the topic, only to state that I have used it in the past.
 
I use Preview that comes with Mac OS X for viewing PDF files. :)

You should not hate PDF. They have magazine, guide, manual or book is as e-book in PDF then you will need that PDF better than nothing.

At my work, nobody has higher skill on Adobe Acrobat "PDF". They think I am master expert on Adobe Acrobat. Many times, I taught them how to make into PDF. Someone asked me where I get experience. That's my talent as self-taught.

They have two different Adobe Acrobat and Acrobat Reader.
Acrobat Reader is good for read only but can't edit, re-write or add.
Acrobat (full verison) can use scan into PDF, edit, etc... Shhhh, I did make change date of expire on coupon or rebate.

I think they have Acrobat Reader in Blackberry. So, you will need that PDF for read e-book or guide or part list.

I put e-book into AT&T Tilt for my wife. She surprised to see.... Too bad, my iphone does not have acrobat (PDF).

when I download to use Acrobat Reader for work. I don't like to use it with Safari which it's not great. Since it loading so awful and slow on browser as it cause.

I manage to remove it thry Library so, I would never use Acrobat on browser but review for print, that's it. And only PDF will appear on Safari under Preview which is quick and lite to loading.
 
Thanks for letting us know about it. I really love PDF files but never able to edit as adding etc... I will download and check it out to see if I like it. Then will give my 2 cent feedback.
 
I thought it was free until I downloaded it. I noticed the price is cheaper than Adobe editor. So... I havent decided if I want to purchase the pdf editor from Foxit.

Interface of foxit seem nice. Free reader but must pay for edit the pdf.
 
I use Adobe often for reading PDF. Didn't have any problem. I will check out Foxit PDF reader tho. My scanner can scan and convert to PDF without problem. I like it cuz it's free LOL (HP PSC2175, kinda old tho). I would download PDF reader for Blackberry. It's a must have software for me to use tho. I read alot stuff on the net that use pdf tho..

Darkage, you are master expert at ADOBE? Are you trying impressive! anyway, I hate when I visit any sites sometime require PDF and open it without my permission. it loading long forever till pdf loading to complete. thats my problem..

At my work... everytime, they told someone to see me. I am only one person has higher skill in edit. Nobody knows how to edit. Just simple copy to save in PDF without edit.

Few times, I got stuck with password that I can't export to Tiff or doc or excel because someone set up in password but.... I can do other way to pull files out from PDF. Special apps "metaprint" at my workplace.

How come you have problem with PDF. Did you install Acrobat Reader in your computer? If, you did not install then it won't work at all.

ADOBE911, I dial and screaming " HELP, HELP".. oh darkage.. please come and see me for need your help and install my laptop for adobe pdf, Acrobat Reader . Plus teaching me how to use PDF properly..

LOL.. I just kidding... anyway Ahh..awesome cool. thank you for throw the links on me. I will look these links, edcuate me how to use and FAQ.. ;)

Remember that they have two different software
Adobe Acrobat Reader - FREEEEEEE but can't edit or re-write or export to doc or tiff or JPG or excel.
Adobe Acrobat Prof - not free but use edit, scanner, re-write, crop, move pages, add new page, delete page, convert from AutoCAD, Photoshop, Words, Excel, etc.

I am not expert on Photoshop (any special). Just basic like adjust color balance, crop, etc.

For Adobe, I use Preview for Mac and Adobe Reader for Windows.
