I agree with Gemma, that you need to find your own way because it is not a "one size fits all" situation. But I do recommend that you learn ASL so that you'll have it when you need it. Basically, you need to be yourself and if others do not "accept" you because their perception is that you are not "Deaf" enough, why would you want to be part of them?OhioGirl
