I was wondering how I become involved in events in my area. Does anyone live in my area?

No... but it does look somewhat like me :)...but I cribed the image from "Google:Images:Cyborg"

I had to change my avatar to this one...apparently some thought I was a guy.:giggle: My old avatar was a picture of two red shirts, and as you may see, I have an odd obsession with red shirts. ;)

At least the avatar has red hair, refering to the shirts!
 
Are you referring to Star Trek where everyone who wears red or yellow (except the captain), gets killed?
I love star trek. Not a true Trekky though. I did get to go to a convention a few years ago. Totally cool.
