As for me, I liked Resident Evil Zero (GameCube) and Resident Evil 2 (Dreamcast) the best.

There are more than 5 RE titles so far:

Resident Evil (PSX version or GC re-make)

Resident Evil 3 : Nemesis (Playstation/Dreamcast/GameCube)

Resident Evil Code : Verconia X (Playstation 2 / GameCube version)

Resident Evil : Survivor (Playstation)

Resident Evil : Dead Aim (Playstation 2)

coming titles:

Resident Evil : Outbreak (Playstation 2)- March 30th, 2004

Resident Evil 4 (GameCube)- November 2004
 
Unfortunately, I've never played in of the Resident Evil games. I wish I did. :(
 
so you own the GameCube right? well two Resident Evil titles for the cube are 20 dollars each so grab 'em while you are it, dear boy

because it was hard and confusing? lol...I gotta admit, RECVX was the least I've liked in the series...too many confusing puzzles, not enough ammo and weapons, etc...so embrassassing enough, I had to start the game three times to get this damn right in order to save enough ammo and health as I get near to the second half of this game...ugh it was so frustrating and sure took me forever to finish this up, but thankfully I beat it as I've hadn't finish this game 3 years ago lol but with the guidebook in my hands, I was able to beat it but without it, I dont have the patience so I'm glad I beat it in order to understand the entire RE storyline...it was proably the hardest RE game I've ever played so I hope they dont release anymore harder RE games than this! sheesh
