I have two-- the back-to-back-to-back homers I witnessed on June 3, 2002 at the old Busch Stadium, and my second one is the Cardinals coming back from 2 runs down TWICE in Game 6 of the 2011 World Series, and eventually winning it and forcing a Game 7.

What is your favorite pro sports memory? Can be in person or on TV.

Wayne Gretzky's short handed OT goal against Calgary in game two of 1988 playoffs battle of Alberta.

Does "Nipplegate" count as a pro-sport moment since it happened at the Super Bowl?

Also, I wasn't alive when it happened, I loved hearing my grandmother talk about the legnedary "Heidi" game--where the game ran into over-time but the network stopped the game to run the old Heidi movie, hehehe

Anything but that. That was a most unfortunate moment in television history, and it led to 10+ years of strict rules on what could be said on TV or radio.

Yeah, but as unfortunate as it was, it was still hilarious left me and my family laughing for days and years to come :)

That may be, but when it happened, there was an instant uproar where I was, and my former staff from way back then had no choice but to cut the game off, because we weren't supposed to see that kind of stuff, but I was the only one who missed it, because prior to it happening, I had to take care of nature's call, and when I got back, it was chaos.

I remember I watched It but I didn't understand why. can you explain why hes out that something with the bat?

There's a rule that the pine tar cannot exceed the length of home plate, and sine he exceeded that length, the umpires called him out for exceeding said length. He got tossed, but the Commissioner back then ordered Yankees and Royals to re-do those last few innings. Only thing I don't remember is who won, but I think New York did, but I know the score was 4-3.

Nope, commissioner overturned the umpires ruling and Royals won the game.

Edit: both teams protested, in the end the homerun stands and they finished the game.. Royals won.

Oops. You're right. That part I forgot about. I was just a little bit off on that one. My apologies, Frisky.

Very interesting, I don't remember that game at all. I pretty much just follow the Giant's. I record their games and fast forward to all the good parts. Otherwise OMG sitting for 4+ hours for every game is just way too much.

Not looking good tonight. Started off with a home run then fell apart. Every time Angel Pagan is out they seem to lose.

Hey, they're playing the White Sox. That should be a good series.

Usually yes....not so much right now if your a Giant's fan.

They'll find a way to get their offense going again. They're not the only ones I can remember doing that-- the Red Sox did that not that long ago, and theirs was much deeper than the Giants. The AL is a high scoring league, while the NL is not, and I can see them getting out of it and going on a nice run before long.
