GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -
A dangerous form of marijuana is growing in popularity.

"Wax" or "dabs" is a highly concentrated form of marijuana, and experts warn making it could be as dangerous as making methamphetamine.

Cooked with butane, the marijuana forms a wax-like substance and can be smoked. The drug has a much more concentrated amount of THC - the element of marijuana that produces a high - as much as 40 percent more than a regular marijuana joint.

"If you bought really quality marijuana you're probably getting 15 percent THC," said Carol Reeves with Greenville Family Partnership, a local drug prevention organization. "With wax you can get as much as a 60 percent concentration."

Experts warn one hit of "wax" contains as much THC as at least 20 marijuana joints.

One of my roommate smoked wax because it is less smell than plant so less likely to be busted by other students or faculty staffs.

But people will be able to tell your roommate is high on something if they saw him .

The high isn't easy to detect and my roommate has great tolerant with wax.

Gally doesn't go after anyone who are high because marijuana is legal in DC - many of them smoked off campus.

You will cited for possession of marijuana ($100 fine, 2 points for first time, $300 fine, 2 points for repeat) on campus but being high isn't.

If you get more than 10 points so you will be suspended for one semester or one year, but Gally let some students stay after have more than 10 points, but get busted 4 times - it means you will have more than $1,000 debt in student account and they won't let you to register until you pay debt down to under $1,000.

It was easy to tell when my friends and I were high , we got extra silly and got the munchies really bad. I really don't get the big deal is about smoking pot. We got so mellowed out while listening to records , this show how long ago this was. Who listen to records today ?:giggle:
Yeah , the state made a lot of money busting people for using pot , this could be why most states want to keep this illegal, it make them a lot of
$$$!

If you need a blowtorch to light it... Things may be a little out hand...

Is whiskey, scotch or any hard drink more addictive and more dangerous then a light beer?
The awsner to this question of course is first how is dangerous being defined here?

The same goes for weed or any of its products.
